It Started With a Shout
If you've ever worked in a medical or dental office, you know the scene: a doctor steps out of a treatment room, leans into the hallway, and calls out for a hygienist, an assistant, or whoever happens to be nearby. Sometimes it works. Often, nobody hears. The patient is left waiting. The doctor walks around looking. Time is lost.
That was the problem we set out to solve.
The Hallway Problem
Overhead paging systems feel clinical and disruptive. Walkie-talkies are clunky. Texting is too slow when someone is gloved up mid-procedure. There had to be a better way.
The Chacer was born from a simple idea: what if every room had a smart button — and pressing it instantly notified the right person, silently and precisely?
What We Built
We built a lightweight, web-based paging system that lives on any device — a tablet on the counter, a phone on the wall, or a computer at the front desk. Rooms and staff members are configured in minutes. A single tap sends an instant, targeted notification to whoever needs to respond.
No hardware to install. No IT department required. Just a browser and a Wi-Fi connection.
Why It Matters
Our goal was never to build complex software. It was to remove one small but constant friction point from the workday of healthcare and office professionals — and give them back their time, their focus, and a quieter, more professional environment for their patients.
We're proud of what The Chacer has become, and we're just getting started.
What's Next
We're continuously improving The Chacer based on real feedback from the offices that use it every day. If you have a suggestion or a story about how it's helped your team, we'd love to hear from you.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
